Blog Thursday: Inauguration Week!

It was an exciting week for Elliot and his parents. First came the highly anticipated arrival of Ava Kate Rabold, daughter of Brian and Helen. Elliot got to visit his new friend in the same hospital where he was born just nine short months ago.

It's hard to believe he was this small so recently.

The inauguration of President Obama was the next day, and Mom and Dad made an exception to the "no tv" rule for this special occasion.

We watched the proceedings on the big screen at Dad's office.

And Elliot wore his celebratory duds, of course.

Flag-eating would have landed him in Guantanamo just 24 hours earlier...

Hey, that's Obama on the tv, don't pay attention to me!

And later that day, Mom got her Inauguration Day miracle as Elliot's hair went curly.

Finally, Grant and Marc came up from SF for the weekend!

Ms. Cleo didn't get the memo to wear stripes.

She also didn't get the memo that the blocks were for Elliot.
