Greetings from rural Western North Carolina! The Weirs have been stationed with Binghams, Sprouses, Riddells and Cherki on a hilltop outside Marshall (about 30 minutes from Asheville) for the past week, where we've all been having a great time eating, reading, relaxing, enjoying the snow and fresh air, and more eating.
There's plenty to cover, more than will fit comfortably in one post, so we'll begin with the subject of our greatest anticipation: getting to meet Elliot's new second cousin Skye Cherkis.

Elliot tries out that new "sharing" trick moments after meeting Skye.

Fun fact: we never posed Skye and Elliot for photos - both seemed to have an innate sense of composition and an awareness of the camera. We've already alerted Tyra.

A couple of readers, imagine that.

"You have GOT to read this!"

Cousins with second cousins (now that I finally know the difference between second cousins and cousins first-removed, I'm using it as much as possible).

Christmas morning.
Tupperware > gifts (of course).

Watch out, Elliot learned to kiss this week.

Engineering 101

Road trip to Beech Mountain!

Taken from the THIRD row of our massive Chevy Tahoe rental vessel.

Todd, I mean Unkie T, teaching Elliot and Skye all about capital accumulation theory.

Young composers at work.
