Aside from the first couple of posts, I've made little attempt to provide a uniform chronology here. One upshot is that Elliot may not seem to be growing, or might even be shrinking on us.

It may be difficult to read the chart on this blog, so: the seven lines correspond to percentiles (5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 90 and 95). At Elliot's 5lb 14oz birth, he was way down at the 5th percentile. When we left the hospital he was down to 5lb 7oz, which was why we were so focused on bringing his weight up.
Three days later Elliot was back up to his birth weight and by the next week he was at 7 lbs (this is twice the average rate). And as of a few days ago (today is May 30) he was up to 8lb 6oz, which has him crossing the 25th percentile.
Our plan is working!
